Monday - Wednesday

A new normal has set in. 

Speratic Sleep, indigestion and nausea just happen when they happen. The mouth sores have gone away. 

Scott's Monday blood work showed a low white blood cell count - so more antibiotics, but he's good to do life as he has energy to. 

5 of Scott's friends have shaved their heads in solidarity. He's feeling the love and support. Same. 

1/2 way point lung test. Everything looks good! Chemo is still a go!

Last treatment!  Scott's attempting to grow out what hair is left. It's dark, grey and straight. 🤣 Thanks to who dropped gift cards in my bag at church (Ninja!).   In a sweet turn of events....  The scheduler was new to us.... and she couldn't find an appointment on a Monday for Scott... or Tuesday, so she schedules him for a Wednesday. Which meant he was able to enjoy Canadian Thanksgiving - and we did it well! While the Butter Tarts were not able to make the dessert table, we had enough. Fresh Irish Apple Crumble, Tiramisu, Pumpkin Pie and Nanaimo Style Alabama Bars (Thank you Emma, Corner Gas). It was a great meal he could taste.  Scott has 1 more Treatment and he is counting the days. He rests a lot. Sunday is a great example. He may or may not sleep Saturday Night. He will go to church and then eat lunch. By 1pm he's ready to sleep 3+ hours.  Chemo brain is a real thing and will be grateful for it to go away. In other news, this is time together that we would have never taken for ourselves.
