Last treatment! Scott's attempting to grow out what hair is left. It's dark, grey and straight. 🤣 Thanks to who dropped gift cards in my bag at church (Ninja!). We enjoyed a Celebratory breakfast on you. Grateful. This weekend, we enjoyed a Fall day si Tate Farms with Scott's work. I will now blast you with pictures. In a sweet turn of events.... The scheduler was new to us.... and she couldn't find an appointment on a Monday for Scott... or Tuesday, so she schedules him for a Wednesday. Which meant he was able to enjoy Canadian Thanksgiving - and we did it well! While the Butter Tarts were not able to make the dessert table, we had enough. Fresh Irish Apple Crumble, Tiramisu, Pumpkin Pie and Nanaimo Style Alabama Bars (Thank you Emma, Corner Gas). It was a great meal he could taste. Scott has 1 more Treatment and he is counting the days. He rests a lot. Sunday is a great example. He may or may not sleep Saturday Night. He will go to church and then eat lunch. By 1pm he's ready to sleep 3+ hours. Chemo brain is a real thing and will be grateful for it to go away. In other news, this is time together that we would have never taken for ourselves. We have been forced to face our souls (mind, will and emotions) and find out what we really believe about health and healing. Do we ...
